EVERY CHAIR FILLED: PRESIDENT NAMES SIX NEW MINISTERS
By Kola Quill · 24 July 2026
Honourable Minister
Tadé Ojó
The teacher every chick remembers. Tadé runs Foraging 101, pairs the young with the wise, and has walked more nervous chicks to their first meal than anyone but Dede.
Tadé found his calling by accident, when a lost chick followed him for a whole afternoon and he could not bring himself to shake it off. He taught it to find the good spot behind the water tank instead, and by evening there were four chicks, and by the next week there was a curriculum. Foraging 101 is now the Republic's best-attended class, its final exam gloriously simple: find the good spot before your instructor does.
As Minister he pairs every chick with a senior hen and every senior hen with a reason to get up in the morning. He argues, gently and constantly, that the Young Chick Representation Bill is right and that the ministry should one day be led by an actual young chicken, once one of them stops eating the exam. The Noiler start their young early on the range; Tadé made that a national programme.

Tadé the Foraging Master takes Youth and Chick Development; Rọ́nkẹ́ Mama Owambe takes Social Affairs. Elder Yèyé Àlàbá hands over the social advisory she held for years with relief and pride, and books the Reconciliation Bench for the afternoon, just in case.
